The Greyhound Protection Act will prohibit dog racing nationwide
Announcing an historic bill to end dog racing! Sponsored in chief by six key lawmakers, Democrat and Republican, H.R. 3894, the Greyhound Protection Act will make it a federal crime to engage in commercial dog racing. The measure also bars US gamblers from betting on foreign races and blocks the export of American dogs for racing elsewhere.
Announcing an historic bill to end dog racing in the United States! Sponsored in chief by Representatives Salud Carbajal, Zach Nunn, Tony Cárdenas, Nancy Mace, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, and Don Davis, H.R. 3894, the Greyhound Protection Act will make it a federal crime to engage in commercial dog racing. The measure also bars US gamblers from betting on foreign races and blocks the export of American dogs for racing elsewhere. This groundbreaking measure is endorsed by over 250 shelters, animal protection groups and civic organizations across the country and around the globe.
